Have you always wanted to visit Goodison Park or St James' Park but for one reason or another, have never managed to visit? Well, this may be the perfect podcast for you.

Home Turf is a BBC Sounds show that gives supporters a unique insight into a Premier League matchday experience.

In the coming weeks, YouTube personality Ellis Platten will travel to all 20 grounds in England's top flight, speaking to passionate fans around the country to find out what a matchday is really like on their home turf.

From learning about bizarre pre-match rituals to finding out about club legends, he will soak in the atmosphere at each club to give you a short, but entertaining overview of his journey.

"I am really excited about it," Platten told SPORTbible. "I've done a solid chunk of the 92 grounds across the English pyramid but I'm still quite a novice when it comes to Premier League grounds, so being able to tick them off and finding out more about each club will be fantastic.

"Ideally, the plans are to do every one of the Premier League clubs at home, and see them win so we get a great atmosphere on the day. I think it's got huge potential to go all across the UK and Europe too. It would be amazing to eventually reach out further afield to see what a match day is like at some of the biggest clubs in Europe too."

In the debut episode of Home Turf, Ellis travelled to Goodison Park; the home of Everton Football Club. "It was fantastic," Platten says.

"I left really feeling like I knew what a match day for Everton was like. A fanbase who, 1. Love Big Dunc & Neville Southall and 2. Never know what they're going to get, fully expecting to get hurt but still turning up every week to show their support.

"A highlight for me was hearing the Liverpool fan discuss how he used to take his dog for a walk right outside of Goodison to let it do a s*** outside the ground. It really felt like that gave me a good 'flavour' of the rivalry."

In recent weeks, Platten has visited Elland Road and the London Stadium.

On Sunday 20 February, he watched Leeds take on bitter rivals Manchester United in what was a "tense atmosphere" and then a few days later, the YouTuber caught up with West Ham fans ahead of their clash against Wolves.
