Fans blown away after noticing basketball star has a Grand Theft Auto cheat code tattoo

The shooting guard broke the internet when fans realised that a tattoo on his left arm was the key to a rather specific cheat code.

Basketball fans were blown away after discovering that former Indian Hoosiers’ star Devonte Green had a Grand Theft Auto tribute tattooed on his arm.

The shooting guard broke the internet when fans realised that a tattoo on his left arm was the key to a rather specific cheat code.

And the meaning behind that specific code is brilliant.

In the once-in-a-generation legendary game that is GTA, that code is the hack for unlimited ammunition.

Of course, the 26-year-old, who currently plays for the Norrkoping Dolphins, is a shooter.

That’s some pretty creative thinking.

Fans online were blown away when they realised that the random letters, symbols and numbers all had a very specific meaning.

One person on Twitter said: "This dude got the hardest tat I've ever seen a basketball player have."

Another person simply commented: “GOALS.”

A third added: “I’m 30 years old and instantly knew what that was from.”

A fourth wrote: “When gaming is actually life lol.”

There was a whole lot of ‘respect’ thrown into the comment section as well.

Meanwhile, the tattoo had one fan reminiscing hard.

They commented: “Honestly, I wish someday, a game will make me feel like San Andreas did. It was a really big leap forward at the time.”

Adding: “It's one of the only games that I've played even more after finishing it. So many things to do!”

Green proving himself to be a connoisseur of fine games indeed.

San Andreas is an excellent game, and still stands up today, so fair play to Devonte because it's definitely one of the best reasons to have a tattoo that we've heard.

What happened to cheat codes in games?

They made for unreal fun back in the day, but nowadays were instead given microtransactions to unlock similar sorts of traits.

Bring back cheat codes I say.
