Molly McCann Just Landed Knockout Of The Year With A SICKENING Spinning Elbow

What a shot.

Molly McCann just knocked Luana Carolina out with a spinning elbow at UFC London - it's already being called knockout of the year by fight fans.

The UFC returned to the United Kingdom for the first time in two years this evening and McCann, who hails from Liverpool, is a popular name in the promotion.

McCann took on Carolina in front of a packed O2 Arena and delivered something that'll be remembered for years.

After slipping out of a clinch, 'Meatball' unleashed a spinning elbow from hell that completely wrecked her opponent.

Carolina collapsed to the ground in a heap as commentary, the crowd, plus everyone watching at home lost their minds.

McCann herself took time to let it all soak in, before taking a title belt from the crowd and walking around the octagon with it.

She competes in the flyweight division and it seems she's already got gold in her sights.

Fans have reacted to the knockout and they believe a new star was born tonight.

One commented: "That's easily one of the best, if not the best KO of 2022."

Another said: "That was so damn violent."

A third put: "Don't think I've ever seen a fighter as disoriented as Luana Carolina leaving the cage after that KO from Molly McCann."

While someone tweeted: "That knockout from Molly McCann was nastyyyyyy."

Carolina was escorted out of the cage not long after the knockout and she was reportedly having difficulty opening her eye.

McCann was cheered on in the back by good friend Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett, who takes on Rodrigo 'Kazula' Vargas later this evening.

Before tonight's event, McCann spoke to The National and said it was shaping up to be one of the biggest Fight Night cards ever put on.

'Meatball' explained: "It’s the highest honour a fighter in the UFC can probably have, other than main event in your home town, or fighting for world title. "It’s the next stepping stone.

"You’ve one of the biggest Fight Night cards there’s possibly ever been. We’ve got a full O2 Arena, sold out in minutes. And we all – not just myself, everyone from Britain – are just desperate to put on a performance for everyone to watch and to enjoy."

Fair to say, she definitely put on a show.
