Leon Edwards vs Kamaru Usman 3: What time is their fight at UFC 286?

Leon Edwards fights Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 at the O2 in London. Here’s how much each fighter will be paid for the fight.

Usman and Edwards first went toe to toe in 2015, with the former claiming a victory. However, the British fighter took his revenge last August at UFC 278 in dramatic fashion.

Edwards pulled off a stunning final-minute finish, landing a left high kick that knocked Usman out.

In turn, the 31-year-old was crowned the UFC Welterweight champion, becoming only the UK’s second-ever fighter to achieve such a feat.

The 31-year-old will defend his crown against Usman, with the pair taking each other on for the third time this evening.

According to Sports Lens’ estimates, Usman will receive a purse of around £1.2million for the fight against Edwards.

That figure takes into account the American’s base salary of approximately £750,000 along with a pay-per-view payout of £500,000.

Indeed, because of his record, Usman is one of the highest-paid fighters in the UFC.

Meanwhile, Edwards is expected to take home just under £1million from UFC 286. That includes a base salary of £575,000 and pay-per-view payouts of up to £410,000.

While the winner’s bonus has not yet been confirmed it is expected to be around £100,000 for the fight.
