Fan Attempts To Get Into The Octagon During UFC 274 But Is Sent Flying

One fan clearly wanted to get a closer look of the likes of Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje, Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler, but failed

One fan got a bit too confident in their chances of getting past security at a UFC event, when they attempted to get into the octagon at UFC 274.

The event in Phoenix, Arizona, at the weekend included some of the finest action of the year, as Justin Gaethje attempted to win the UFC lightweight title, after Charles Oliveira vacated it, and Michael Chandler and Tony Ferguson faced off too.

There was plenty for the crowd to get excited about, and no one surely could have been too disappointed with their view of Chandler's incredible K.O of Ferguson.

However, that clearly wasn't the case as instead of enjoying their seat, one fan attempted to get into the cage, which was clearly a huge mistake.

The female fan has gone viral for getting absolutely wiped out by the security guard at the door to the octagon, and it makes for a hell of a watch.

The clip, which was originally shared on TikTok by user Shriak Sharma, showed the woman hopping over the barrier in front of her seat and making a beeline for the octagon.

There were no fighters inside at the time as she made it all the way to the front and up the platform, only to get pushed out of the way by what looks to be a member of staff.

The TikToker didn't know the woman, who could later be seen being escorted away by security, which is no surprise given the stunt she was trying to pull.

"What was the plan after getting in the ring??" one commenter understandably asked.

"This is prob the last sport where I would do that," another smartly pointed out.

Looking for the positives, another said, "Hey, she will always remember this. and be a great story for life"

Someone else who was at the show added, "I saw this happen live and am so happy to see it again. My son didn’t believe me!" kind of understandable in fairness.

As well as some of the most entertaining MMA moments of the year, fans in attendance also paid to see one of the worst title fights in the company's history.

Carla Esparza defeated Rose Namajunas to become the women's strawweight champion, in a fight that actually sent Israel Adesanya to sleep, which is impressive as no one else in UFC has been able to do that to the Last Stylebender...
