Thomas Tuchel changed housekeeper's life with incredible acts of kindness

Thomas Tuchel changed housekeeper's life with incredible acts of kindness

The former Chelsea and PSG manager bought the woman a house and paid for her son's heart surgery.

Thomas Tuchel bought his cleaner in Paris a house and paid for her son's surgery in two incredible gestures.

During his two-year spell as Paris Saint-Germain manager, Tuchel and his family employed a cleaner who looked after their property in Hauts-de-Seine.

The women began working extra hours so she could cover the costs of surgery for her son, who was suffering with a serious heart problem.

When his wife Sissi informed him of the situation, Tuchel signed a cheque and paid for the surgery without hesitation, as per ESPN.

That wasn't all though. During his final weeks as PSG boss before his dismissal, the German had a lengthy chat with the maid.

She explained that it was her dream to have a house back home in the Philippines, so former Chelsea manager Tuchel went away and made it happen by buying the woman a property.

Prior to taking the reins at Stamford Bridge after a short break from management, the 49-year-old gave her the keys to a new luxury villa.

Tuchel, who lifted the Champions League and Super Cup during his spell with Chelsea, did not need to do what he did, but both wonderful acts will have changed the woman's life for the better.

He recognised her work ethic and drive, and went out of his way to help her.

Last year, Tuchel's Chelsea thrashed Non-League side Weymouth 13-0 in a pre-season friendly and he took time to give advice to the players.

"He [Tuchel] thanked us for playing," Weymouth's Ollie Harfield revealed to SPORTbible.

"He said he liked the way we tried to do things and never got onto each other when things weren't going well.

"He also said how it was always going to be this sort of result, playing such a strong team like he did, but appreciated us for being part of it."
