The Premier League's greatest ever XI is a subjective matter but we can look at stats and previous Team of the Season appearances to determine what an all-time side looks like.
The latest PFA Team of the Year was released last night and it marked a fifth appearance for Cristiano Ronaldo, who returned to Manchester United and scored 18 goals in the Premier League.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who scooped the PFA Players' Player of the Year two years on trot in 2006/07 and 2007/08, therefore makes the best ever XI.

In goal is Ronaldo's United colleague David De Gea, who has also been a Team of the Year member on five occasions since moving to the Premier League in 2011.
Stalwarts Gary Neville (5) and Rio Ferdinand (6) line up in the backline, with eleven Team of the Year appearances between them.
For the second centre-back spot, Gary Pallister, Nemanja Vidic and John Terry all have four appearances each but the Chelsea legend gets the nod after winning the PFA Players' Player of the Year.

Ashley Cole, the man who SPORTbible readers voted as the perfect player from England's 'Golden Generation' for this current crop, completed the defence after with four inclusions.
Ronaldo slots in on the right flank, his previous role. And then in central midfield Patrick Vieira just about beats rival Roy Keane with six appearances to five.
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard holds the record for the most appearances in PFA Premier League Team of the Year history with eight, while all-time assist holder Ryan Giggs occupies the left-wing berth with six.
