I'm a Celebrity star Fred Sirieix has revealed that a Premier League player had sex in his restaurant, and he may reveal who it was in the jungle.

The French maître d'hôtel, best known for being on First Dates, is expected to reveal a number of celebrity secrets from his time in hospitality on the show.

He has understandably had to deal with an array of situations over the years, which is now revealed to include a Premier League footballer who 'got lucky' in one of his restaurant's toilets.

Sirieix revealed: "I've had my own brushes with amorous guests. One evening a very well-known footballer came for dinner with a companion. He was a Frenchman like me, and a star in the Premier League. Halfway through the meal, he and his companion left the table and went to the loo.

"Actually, they went to the same loo - the Ladies - and then into the same cubicle. They returned about 15 minutes later and finished their meal. They had certainly worked up a healthy appetite.

"Funnily enough the footballer had such a fabulous meal that he returned a couple of weeks later. This time he came through the doorway with his wife. She walked in first, he was behind her, and he looked at me. He raised his two index fingers to his mouth, pleading for a big shush."

Fred revealed this in his book titled Secret Service: 'Lifting the lid', but he could go one step further and name the footballer from the story in camp and leave the editors with a difficult decision.

Knowing that the footballer is French narrows it down ever so slightly, but fans of the Premier League will be desperate to find out who the mystery man is.

Sirieix also spoke about how how he ate high quality food from his early years, such as snails and frog legs, making the menu on I'm a Celebrity look even less appealing.

Since being in camp, he has become the chef of the group, cooking many meals while also clashing with other members such as Nella Rose and Nigel Farage.
