There's A Petition To Bring A New Series Of Masters Football To Sky Sports

It needs to happen.

Fans are desperate to see a Masters Football tournament back on their screens in 2022. In fact, one loyal supporter of the popular Sky Sports series has created an online petition to try and get the show to make a triumphant return.

Never watched Masters Football before? Then you seriously missed out.

Sky Sports gave us coverage of a six-a-side tournament that included all your favourite ex-footballers over the age of 35 from Premier League years gone by.

The likes of Ian Rush, Ally McCoist, Matt Le Tissier and Andy Cole featured on the iconic blue surface, as we got to relive our youths from the comfort of our homes.

Back in October 2020, it was confirmed that the iconic show had made its way to Amazon Prime Video, where fans can watch all the Grand Final events between 2003 and 2011.

In fact, Sky Sports then started posting highlights from previous tournaments on their YouTube channel.

But what we really want is a brand new series of Masters Football with all the trimmings.

I mean, all you need to do is look at Twitter from the past few days to see how much fans want this to actually happen.

Make it happen, Sky Sports. It's what the people want.
