Brazilian footballer Lucao do Break lived up to his affectionate nickname this weekend, after celebrating winning a Man of the Match award with a spot of break dancing.
During a Campeonato Paulista match (the top division in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo), the forward played a blinder, scoring Serie B side Guarani's opening goal.
The hosts would go on to win 3-0, but it was something that happened in the aftermath of the tie that went viral on Twitter.
Following a post-match interview, in which he received the MOTM award, Lucao celebrated in some style, as the video below demonstrates.
The 30-year-old had every reason to be happy, with Guarani now just four points behind giants Corinthians in Group A of the Campeonato Paulista.
Lucao's goal's on Saturday was his first since the end of January, which happened to be a superb strike against Sao Paulo.
The marksman, who has also played in the Kuwaiti league, certainly has a penchant for the spectacular - as you can see here:
Lucao's break dancing routine is something of a trademark at this point, as he also broke into dance following his opening goal on Saturday evening.
Rather predictably, his first attempt was markedly smoother than his second. Nevertheless, following 90 gruelling minutes of play, his subsequent MOTM celebration was a mighty feat of strength.
Lucao's most successful spell from a goalscoring perspective came back in 2018, where he netted 21 times in 45 appearances for Brazilian second division side, Goias.
From there, he would move to Al Kuwait for half a season, before enjoying a brief period in the Brazilian first division with Fluminese.
Despite not scoring in six appearances for the Rio-based side, he seems to have rediscovered his goalscoring touch with Guarani.
Long may it continue!
