Lyon fans are demanding their players stop wearing green boots in games going forward.
The latest Adidas X Speedportal boots have a green colourway and they've been sported by a total of 13 different players.
The likes of Anthony Lopes, Malo Gusto, Tete, Houssem Aouar and Karl Toko Ekambi have all been wearing the cleats.
But it's riled up the passionate Lyon supporters, who unveiled a banner during their 4-1 win over Troyes.

The banner had a picture of the green boots with a red 'Do not' sign, complete with the words, 'Respectez Nos Traditions', which translates to “respect our traditions”.

What's the issue with the colour green, we hear you ask? Well, Lyon's bitter rivals Saint-Etienne play in green and the supporters do not want any kind of association.

The problem they have, is that players are contracted to wear the boots and so it won't be easy getting them to change boots.
According to Get French Football News, Sidney Govou, who won seven Ligue One titles with Lyon, wore green boots one game and three training sessions back in his playing days.
Lyon's Gomis may be scoring for fun this season, but his green boots have upset the board, who are reminded of rivals Saint-Etienne. #Ligue1

Former Lyon boss Bernard Lacombe was not happy and promptly told the ex France international to get rid of them.
There was also said to be an issue with Bafétimbi Gomis in 2011, with the board not best pleased with his green boots.
Gusto, who plays right-back for Lyon, jokingly asked Adidas to make a new pair in the white, blue and red colours but we reckon that's unlikely.
This kind of thing has happened before, though. Borussia Dortmund fans once complained about their players wearing Nike boots in blue, the colour of rivals Schalke.
