Leeds United fans have come up with a brilliant chant for summer signing Brenden Aaronson. You can watch the video below.
The 21-year-old American’s chant is inspired by the lyrics of popular R&B song ‘American Boy’ by Estelle. The chant goes like this.
Come to Elland Road and you will see him play.

Signed from Red Bull Salzburg and he’s here to stay.
I really want to, live in Beeston with you.
You’ll be my American boy.

Despite only arriving this summer, Aaronson has already had a major impact at Leeds, hence the reward of his own personalised chant by the Elland Road faithful.
Aaronson joined Leeds from manager Jesse Marsch’s former side Red Bull Salzburg of Austria for a deal worth a reported £24.7 million.
The winger scored his first goal in Leeds colours during the shock 3-0 win over Chelsea, Aaronson showed great pressing ability to force an error from Blues goalkeeper Edouard Mendy before cooly slotting the ball into the back of the net.

Aaronson's first goal for Leeds drew praise from former Manchester United and Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
He said: “I really like him, he’s a fantastic young player and his work ethic is fantastic, too.
“High energy, high intensity. That’s what you want to do [to Chelsea], put them under pressure. Mendy was probably surprised by the speed of Aaronson.”

During Saturday 5-2 defeat against Brentford, Bees manager Thomas Frank singled Aaronson out after the match.
The Dane said: “I think they’re really good. With a narrow front four combining and tricky players, good players. Aaronson – what a player, what a player, that’s a top buy for Leeds. So I think we defended that a little bit bad, but also credit to Leeds.”
Aaronson is one of the best talents to come out of the United Sates of America, having played for Bethlehem Steel FC and Philadelphia Union before making a move to European football.

Fans in his native have dubbed Aaronson as the ‘Medford Messi’ with reference to his birthplace, Medford, New Jersey and Argentine legend Lionel Messi.

Former Leeds defender, Matthew Kilgallon also heaped praise on the 21-year-old.
He said: “He works hard, he defends well, he gets back in position early, does everything right. He looks like a good lad out there, he wants to do as well as he can. And he’s come into the Premier League and absolutely just taken to it so easily. Gives everything, he runs around and gives it everything.”
Leeds will now have a week to prepare for their next match, which will be against newly promoted side Nottingham Forest at Elland Road next Monday.
