As part of this series of reveals, it has been confirmed that 11 players have seen their positions changed ahead of the start of the upcoming season.

Ahead of the official FPL launch, a series of major changes will see players awarded points for defensive contributions, while last season's Assistant Manager chip has been removed and replaced by two of each of the other chips.
Alongside that, 11 players will change position, slightly altering how they score points and what they will be awarded for various contributions.

Perhaps the most controversial position change sees West Ham United talisman Jarrod Bowen reclassified as a forward next season, having been a midfielder in 2024/25.
