Former Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll has claimed that she was attacked during her holiday.

Knoll made the headlines during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and has since become a household name in the football world.

However, whilst holidaying on the popular Greek island of Mykonos, Knoll claimed she was attacked after a woman’s boyfriend stared at her.

Knoll took to social media to explain the story and questioned whether she needs security in the future.

She wrote on Instagram: “Yesterday night I was attacked by an unknown woman in her 40s while I was drinking tea with my friends, thinking that I don't need security in this pretty safe country.

“The reason she attacked me [was] because her guy looked at me when I entered the bar. She waited alone [for] three hours at the bar for me to finish and go out and attack me. I didn't even [recognise] her at the bar. Luckily my two friends caught and kept her away from me, since they didn't want to hurt her.

“They couldn't handle her because she was so crazy and said [she wanted] 'to kill me'. Good thing the police came and took her into custody, but I'm not telling you this with the intention to tell you a story. I want to ask you, ladies, what the f**k is wrong with you?”

She continued: “How you can be so mean and jealous? How you don’t understand that there is awlays some woman is more prettier, younger, hotter, smarter, more powerful, more successful from another. That is not me that is not you and as soon as you accept that and start becoming the happiest, hottest, healthiest and richest version of yourself, you will be complete and not jealous.

“Don't value yourself towards a man, because they are only there to push you in life or as support or give you a headache. That depends on your choice, but they are not there to value you.”
