Meeting Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time is a huge deal for anybody and a recent video released of Real Madrid's Rodrygo's reaction to meeting the Portuguese superstar shows his admiration for one of the greatest players of all time.

Rodrygo moved to the Bernabeu just two years after Ronaldo left for Italian side Juventus but despite never playing with him he will have grown up watching Real Madrid's all time record goal scorer on TV growing up.

Madrid are currently in Saudi Arabia participating in the Spanish Super Cup which meant their club's best ever player could pay them a visit.

Of course Ronaldo had to stop by and say hello when Carlo Ancelotti's men came to town, he left on good terms in 2018 which means he is always greeted with praise when he meets his former club's squad members.

The video which went viral on Twitter shows members of the Madrid squad including Éder Militão, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo posing for photos and chatting to Ronaldo casually.

However Rodrygo's nerves got the best of him as he showed his trembling hand to the camera, clearly showing his anxiety and excitement whilst being introduced to one of his childhood idols.

You can watch the video here:

The Brazilian posted the image on Twitter, expressing his admiration for the five time Ballon D'Or winner, with the caption:

"Meeting my biggest idol!”

Meeting his biggest idol would have been a dream come true for the 22 year old and his nerves certainly showed that.

Ronaldo is still yet to make his debut for Al-Nassr but he will most likely play his first game for an all star team against PSG on January 19.

Real take on Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final on January 15 after both won their semi-finals on penalties.
