Mike Tyson Accused Of Punching Fan Repeatedly On Plane

Mike Tyson Accused Of Punching Fan Repeatedly On Plane

Tyson was on board a flight on Wednesday night when he reportedly 'lost his cool' at a fan sitting behind the former world heavyweight champ

Mike Tyson has been accused of bloodying a fellow passenger aboard a flight, after footage allegedly showed him hitting the fan.

According to reports, the man once known as 'the most dangerous man on the planet' was on a flight from San Francisco to Florida on Wednesday night.

A witness, speaking to TMZ, claimed that he and a friend were talking to the former heavyweight boxer when boarding the flight, with Tyson very friendly with them and other passengers.

The 55-year-old took a selfie with the two men, one of whom was sat behind the American, and was originally happy to chat to the pair.

However footage from TMZ appears to show that he eventually tired of the constant talk and after asking the fellow passenger to 'chil,' he eventually snapped after that didn't happen.

The American outlet obtained video of the incident which left the fan bloodied after getting several shots to the face from the former world champion.

Tyson is said to have left the plane moments after the incident, whilst the man involved went to the police to report what happened to him.

There has been no comment from the former boxer, or the police.

Back in December 2020, Tyson actually warned everyone that they were getting 'too comfortable' with the kind of things they said behind a keyboard, and not willing to face the consequences.

In a now deleted Facebook post, the boxer said, "Social media made y'all way to comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it."

A modern twist on the famous 'everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face' quote from the boxer before he faced Evander Holyfield, that is constantly quoted.

'Iron Mike' was recently named as one of the top 10 best heavyweight boxers of all time, alongside the likes of Muhammad Ali, Lennox Lewis and Holyfield, who he lost to twice.

In the second fight against the former Cruiserweight world champion, Tyson was famously disqualified for biting a chunk out of his opponent's ear.

The boxer turned podcast host now sells edibles in the shape of Holyfield's ear, which also have a chunk missing like the night in Las Vegas in 1997.

Few sports people have rehabilitated their reputation in quite the way Tyson has over the years, going from being feared in the ring and a convicted rapist to a generally liked celebrity.

His appearances in the Hangover franchise certainly enhanced his reputation and now he can be heard on many podcasts discussing topics such as wild theories about homeless people being hunted by the rich.
