Leaked: The 2023/24 Chelsea home kit colour scheme revealed

The colour scheme for Chelsea’s 2023/24 home kit has been revealed by Footy Headlines.

The colour scheme for Chelsea’s 2023/24 home kit has been revealed by Footy Headlines.

Chelsea are not even a third of the way through the 2022/23 season, but plans for next season are already underway including what kit the players will wear.

As reported by Footy Headlines, a throwback to the 2012/13 season - the campaign after they won the Champions League - is on the agenda.

The new home kit will be a blue base with gold logos, a similar colour scheme to that of 10 years ago.

“The Nike Chelsea 23-24 home shirt combines a blue base with gold for logos,” writes the Footy Headlines website.

They also added: “The Nike Chelsea FC 23-24 home shirt could feature minor white and black detailing for a more special touch.

“Nothing concrete about the design of the Nike Chelsea Football Club 2023-24 home jersey is known yet but we expect it to be simple.”

This will be the first kit under the new owners after they arrived at the club. How much influence they have had remains unclear.

Todd Boehly and Co want to increase the revenue opportunities at Stamford Bridge and this could go down as a hot item for supporters next summer when it is released.

Speaking recently at a Bloomberg Invest event, via The Athletic, Clearlake Capital’s Jose E Feliciano believes they can double the revenue at Chelsea.

He said: “We think we have an incredible opportunity to double revenue.

“We think we have one of the best media properties and sport properties in the world where we can get to a £1 billion of revenue.”

Feliciano added: “Ultimately what we’re trying to build is a long-term, sustainable business that can increase in value significantly and that means a lot more than winning or losing on the pitch.

“That’s important as a brand, as a media property, as a team, as a club, but we’re also trying to establish and build and put in place the right building blocks to have a great business in three years, five years, seven years, and a lot of work we are doing behind the scenes is trying to do just that.”
