Alexander to go Global at Bath.

We had another good day yesterday with the NAP and win double landing again.

It's an all flat affair on Friday as Bath and Chelmsford stage meetings on the turf and All-Weather respectively. However, the highlight is All Weather Championship Finals Day at Lingfield.

I've done race by race picks for Lingfield here and my selections from the other two meetings...

Alexander to go Global at Bath

2:00: Bath - Global Alexander 2/1.

Clive Cox's charge has run with credit in two maidens to date and perhaps did too much up front last time over seven furlongs. The drop to five furlongs here should really suit and whilst he has to improve he can handle turf, he has arguably the best form on offer here and takes the beating.

3:00: Bath - Ardamir 5/2. *NON-RUNNER**

Doesn't win many races but this strong traveller could be capable of reversing the form with Midtech Star on turf.

4:00: Bath - Muthmir 5/4.

William Haggas' charge is the stand out here. Third in the Beverley Bullet on his latest start, the seven-year-old son of Invincible Spirit was third in the 2015 Abbaye at Longchamp and whilst his form has not scaled those heights in recent times, he still looks up to winning a race of this nature.

His record fresh is a slight worry but he is the highest rated horse in the field and looks a worthy favourite.

4:30: Bath - El Vip 3/1.

Luca Cumani's horses usually take a while to warm up but this son of Pivotal cost 250,000gns and won well at Leicester in October. He showed his effectiveness in handicaps that day and this race does not look much stronger.

Poet to gain Reward at Newcastle

3:25: Newcastle - To Be Wild 4/1.

You couldn't help but be impressed the four-year-old son of Big Bad Bob's victory at Doncaster in October where he pulled clear of the field in taking fashion under Josephine Gordon. She rides here instead of going to Lingfield and despite this ride being for her boss, that is interesting in itself.

This colt needs to show he can handle the All Weather but he looks a horse to keep on the right side this year.

3:55: Newcastle - Syphax 11/4.

Won the Acomb Stakes at York in August, getting up to win by a head. Not seen since, he looks progressive and is capable of a big run here.

4:25: Newcastle - Lopes Dancer 11/2 Each Way.

Won well here in March and whilst this is a step into handicap company, he might prove good enough.

4:55: Newcastle - Poet's Reward 11/10.

Ran well here on his debut to finish second to a horse who was very unlucky not to win again next time out. He should have lave learnt a lot from that run and the majority of his rivals have also already run. He sets the clear standard on form and looks a good bet.

4/1 Win Double

4:00: Bath - Muthmir

4:55: Newcastle - Poet's Reward
