ODDSbibleRacing's Best Bets From Friday's Action At Lingfield, Newbury, Newcastle and Dubai

Simply Me is our NAP of the Day at Lingfield.

There is some decent action in Britain on Friday with Newcastle staging an evening All-Weather card which is preceded by Jumps meetings at Newbury and Doncaster and a fellow All-Weather card at Lingfield. Dundalk also stages an All-Weather meeting over the Irish sea. Out in Dubai, there's morning action from Jebel Ali.

Here are Friday's selections...

Sleep with one eye open in Dubai

12:30 Jebel Ali - AKA ENTER SANDMAN 8/1 each-way

A horse to keep an eye on according to his owner, makes his second start in the UAE for the countries' champion trainer Doug Watson. He's a horse to keep an eye on and should improve following his debut run, having now been given a visor. His owners are expecting a big run from him, at a nice price.

14:00 Lingfield - SIMPLY ME 11/10 NAP

2 wins from 2 starts this season and the four-year-old daughter of New Approach looks to be progressing with racing. Tom Dascombe's gelding won over seven furlongs at Lingfield in October before following up over today's course and distance with a comfortable success in February.

She was well backed on both occasions and despite a 4lb rise which now leaves her off a career high-mark, she seems on an upward curve and in quite an average race with some exposed horses near the top of the betting, she rates as a strong selection having beaten the second-favourite First Selection here last time.

16:45 Lingfield - ADDICTED TO YOU 11/10

Not seen since December, he was fifth in a very decent maiden which had worked out well with a bumber of winners emerging from that contest. He was an eye catcher that day given he broke poorly but stayed on steadily in the home straight. He will appreciate the step up in trip and has a good chance in this four-runner event.

Celebrate 'Most Celebrated' at Newbury

14:10 Newbury - MOST CELEBRATED evens NB

This lad was hugely disappointing in the Victor Ludorum Juvenile Hurdle last time where he pulled like a cart early on and was a well beaten 32 length third in that race at Haydock.

However, the winner that day looks very smart and Neil Mulholland's ex-Godolphin import, who holds an entry at the Cheltenham Festival, must win this race if he is to any chance of participating in that event.

14:40 Newbury - LE BREUIL evens

Ben Pauling's charge has not been seen since November when he ran out a nine-length winner over Dan Skelton's The Bay Oak who has gone on to run well over hurdles and fences this year.

Potentially waiting for better ground with the son of Anzillero, he looks well placed to make a bold bid with the step up to two-miles and a half seemingly offering him no problem.

15:50 Newbury - BEGGARS CROSS 9/2

Represents powerful connections and finally got his head in front over fences last time out at Doncaster by a length and a quarter. Whilst he didn't jump with great authority that day, he may appreciate the slight drop in trip and should run well.

An 11lb rise to a mark of 121 shouldn't be beyond him and he holds a decent chance.

Get your daily Dose at Newcastle

17:15 Newcastle - ALDRETH 5/2

Looked a very smart horse on the Tapeta surface for Mick Easterby so far this season which has included a couple of placed efforts at this track in 2016.

A winner at Chelmsford earlier this year before an excellent head second last time out, he should appreciate the return to Tapeta and should run a big race with Nathan Evans doing the steering.

19:45 Newcastle - DOSE 5/2

Was unlucky not to win at Wolverhampton on his latest start and with 7lb claimer Connor Murtagh aboard, he should have a great chance of gaining his second career win in what looks a non-competitive handicap to finish Newcastle's evening meeting.
