Can Danny make it NINE in a row?

Another brilliant day for us yesterday as the win double returned a healthy profit and the NAP landed for EIGHTH day in a row.

The racing continues apace today with eight meetings across Britain and Ireland. Flat racing takes place at Bath, Goodwood, Haydock, Pontefract (evening) and Musselburgh (evening). Jump racing occurs at Worcester, whilst in Northern Ireland, Down Royal hosts an evening jump meeting. In Southern Ireland, the Saval Beg Stakes takes centre-stage at Leopardstown's evenng flat card.

Here are Danny Archer's selections...

Bahamian to shine in Bath Sunshine

1:40: Bath - Bahamian Sunrise 6/1 Each Way (1/4 Stan James).

Given a really bad ride at Brighton last time with the saddle slipping. Before that he had run a big race to finish a head second in April and he looks capable of going close off a mark of 75.

3:55: Bath - Qaaraat 9/4 (Black Type).

Ed Dunlop's charge has the form in the book and the form of his third at Newmarket has worked out pretty well. He looks a worthy favourite against a host of newcomers.

Jack to produce electric performance

7:45: Down Royal - Static Jack 7/4 (BetVictor).

Won really impressively at Cork on his first start over the larger obstacles last month, jumping fluently before putting the race to bed easily. He remains open to bundles of improvement.

8:15: Down Royal - Cecil Corbett 13/8 (SkyBet).

Fourth at this track last time, he probably does want a longer trip as he was staying on late in the day over this distance earlier this month but he looks the clear form pick.

Motion to hit the right notes at Goodwood

4:20: Goodwood - Melodic Motion 7/4 (Betfair).

Was outpaced at Pontefract turning for home last time but found plenty for pressure under a fine Hanagan ride to score by a head. Step up in trip is a massive positive and she takes plenty of beating.

2:55: Haydock - Game Player 4/1 (Betfred).

Roger Varian's charge I have word is very highly touted by his stable and this 300,000gns purchase is related to a couple of decent sorts. He should make his presence felt on debut.

5:40: Haydock - Atty Presse 10/11 NAP (Black Type).

Tough to look past this one-time Derby fancy who was crying out for a step-up in trip when only narrowing landing the spoils at Sandown in the Esher Cup last time. This trip should suit and he remains open to enormous potential.

George to restore Order in Leopardstown's Saval Beg

6:35: Leopardstown - Auckland 2/1 (Unibet).

Never really involved last time at Killarney when given a quiet ride by Ana O'Brien but when asked it was slightly disconcerting that he didn't really pick up. However, Moore takes over and he surely has to take a leading hand here.

7:05: Leopardstown - Order Of St George 8/15 (SkyBet - Win Double).

The Saval Beg is one of my most favourite races in the calendar and I hope Aidan O'Brien's charge can finally regain the winning thread. A big, scopey sort, it looks like he evidently needs his first start of the year and that should have brought him on massively.

Romanticism looks worth loving at Pontefract

7:00: Pontefract - Mutadaffeq 2/1 (Ladbrokes).

Seriously impressive when registering a bloodless success at Thirsk last time and whilst he has to fend off a 9lb rise, he remains open to enormous potential for his new yard.

9:00: Pontefract - Romanticism 11/8 (Unibet).

Related to a couple of very decent US horses and also 1000 Guineas winner Special Duty. This daughter of War Front is the clear stand out on form and with her trainer sending just one horse up to this meeting, she is of strong interest.

Village to get Royal seal of approval at Worcester

7:50: Worcester - Royal Village 11/8 (BetVictor).

Philip Hobbs' charge finally got his head back in front last time by a nose. He is evidently a slightly difficult sort but this race lacks substance and he looks up to handling a penalty.
