Our man Danny Archer has been in scintillating form recently and fired in another winning Daily Double yesterday and now targets Town Moor.

We carried on our scintillating run of form with another winning Daily Double at yesterday which returned £243 from a £20 stake.

The William Hill St Leger Festival kicks off today and here are Danny Archer's race-by-race selections for day one of the meeting on Town Moor.

I'll be placing my bets with Ladbrokes today to take advantage of their bet £5 and get £20 in free bets. The Magic Sign will also double your winnings in the 4.20 if your selections wins by 3 lengths or more. Full terms here

2:20: Doncaster: Demons Rock Evs.

Tom Dascombe's charge looks well placed to land a five-timer. The step up to six furlongs has been the making of him and he has also benefitted from front-running tactics. Softer conditions hold no fears and he is well clear of his rivals on ratings,

2:50: Doncaster: Nobleman's Nest 7/2 and Ventura Knight 9/1 Each Way.

Simon Crisford's Nobleman's Nest followed up a fine second on debut with a decisive victory at Newmarket in July. He found the G2 Gimcrack Stakes at York too hot last time but this is a drop in grade and he remains unexposed. He has won on good to soft ground and on breeding, should enjoy the step up to seven furlongs. Ventura Knight was in scintillating form earlier this year when racking up a three-timer but has struggled since when well beaten at Ascot in July and on the All-Weather at Chelmsford in September. However, I'm keen to give him one more chance to prove himself off his new mark.

3:20: Doncaster: Thesme 2/1.

Frankie Dettori seems to get on well with Nigel Tinkler's mare and he gave her a fine ride to finish third at York last time. She handles this ground and was a fine second in this event 12 months ago. She should make her presence felt.

3:50: Doncaster: Off Art 7/2 and Character Onesie 11/2.

This is definitely not a race to get too heavily involved in as it's more about the novelty of former riders partaking in the event but Tim Easterby's Off Art has the services of recently retired Brian Harding. It's a worry he hasn't won since 2013, but he is a course and distance winner and ran well at Redcar. Richard Fahey's Character Onesie is also a gelding who has not won for a good while but he consistently runs well and has Group 1 winning jockey Ian Mongan

4:20: Doncaster: Lahore 10/3 and Important Mission 4/1.

I'm a big fan of Roger Varian's Lahore who won his first two starts comfortably, which included a victory at Town Moor over five furlongs. He found a G3 at Deauville boasting some of France's best sprinters too hot last month but the son of Elusive Quality is back in calmer waters today and should handle this ground. Roger Varian targets this meeting as well. William Haggas' Important Mission has to switch his classy All-Weather form to turf here and soft ground but won impressively at Chelmsford last time and remains thoroughly exposed.

4:50: Doncaster: Mirage Dancer 5/4 Doncaster NAP. £20 returns £45 with Ladbrokes

This is quite a decent event and whilst Mirage Dancer lacks the experience of some of his closest rivals, Sir Michael Stoute's charge was an eye-catching fourth in the Listed Dee Stakes at Chester in May, before finishing third to Benbatl in the G3 Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot. The three-year-old son of Frankel was third in the Great Voltigeur last time. With the winner that day Cracksman dotting up in the Prix Niel last time, that gives the form a strong look. He handled the ground ok that day and whilst on breeding, he would prefer a firmer surface, his unexposed profile makes him of strong interest.

5:20: Doncaster: Mutadel 3/1 and Singeur 11/1 Each Way

Roger Fell's Mutadel has been punted off the boards this morning. A course and distance winner this year as well as being successful over six furlongs at Town Moor, he handles this ground and has a fine chance here.

Singeur won this race last year and might just be returning to form at the right time. He ran a fine race at Ripon last time where he was drawn on the wrong side of the track and looks good each way value.
