Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has finally seen his game face in FIFA 22 and the youngster didn't hold back.

EA Sports' latest title is currently in early access and fans can play 10 hours if they're signed up to the EA Play subscription service.

The last few weeks have proven professional players take a massive interest in their player ratings. However, they're more interested in their faces.

Elliott is regarded as one of the game's best youngsters and sits at a respectable 73 rating. That is, if you can tell the image below is Elliott.

When bursting onto the scene with Fulham a few years ago, Elliott did rock a rather interesting top knot haircut.

But he had it cut while on loan at Blackburn Rovers last season and looks nothing like his game face.

The 18-year-old took to Instagram and left a simple message of: "S**t."

Brutally honest. Fair play.

Elliott is currently recovering from a horrific injury suffered against Leeds United earlier this month.

He suffered the sickening injury after an initial challenge from Pascal Struijk but updated fans with a message of: "Thank you for the messages guys! Road to recovery. YNWA."

Elliott featured for Klopp's side in the opening weeks after a successful stint in the Championship.

The Leeds game was his third start in a row after featuring in a win over Burnley and draw against Chelsea last month.

Manager Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports: "It's a bad injury to his ankle.

"I heard it was dislocated so we could put it back and he's now in hospital. We have to wait, obviously. He played an incredible game and is an incredible player who is out.

"Do I want such a young boy early in his career to have this experience? No, but now it's the case so we have to be there and we will be there. We'll play football without him but we will wait for him as well because obviously he's a top player.

"We all saw the ankle was not in the right place and the medical team put it in the right place. There is not a lot of good things to say, otherwise it is a bad injury. We have to wait for further examinations and scans."
