Eddie Hearn has sent boxing and gaming fans wild over the idea that a new Fight Night Champion game could be in the pipeline.
EA Sports' beloved franchise has remained dormant since the release of Fight Night Champion for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011.
And Hearn, 40, has been vocal about his desire to bring the series back and has even written to the FIFA publisher about its revival.

The Matchroom chief has now whet fans' appetite once again for a new boxing game with his latest comments during an Instagram Live on Friday.
"Fight Night Champion news? I've got a few things in the fire on Fight Night Champion," he said.
Hearn's tease of a new Fight Night game has immediately resonated with fans, who have said that he would be showered in praise should EA Sports revive the series.

"Would turn Hearn into a hero," one boxing fan tweeted.
While another simply posted: "Please let this be true."
The 40-year-old boxing promoter has constantly been flooded with questions regarding a new entry in the Fight Night series.
One fan asked Hearn about the possibility of a new boxing game coming out during a Twitter Q&A in January.

Anthony Joshua's promoter responded at the time: "I've been trying on this for a while -- hopefully this Year [sic] it can happen -- would be huge."
EA Sports sparked rumours over a series revival last December with the announcement that the servers for Fight Night Round 4 would close.
The 2009 Fight Night instalment, which featured Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson on the cover, had its servers for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions shut down earlier this month.

Boxing legend Lennox Lewis suggested last month that a new Fight Night game could come to Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Xbox Series X.
