Skelton's to show Midas touch with Wynford.

We had a few winners yesterday and let's try and keep some momentum going into Royal Ascot next week.

Racing takes place on the flat at Newbury, Nottingham and Haydock (evening). Jump racing occurs at Fontwell and Uttoxeter (evening), whilst in Ireland, Leopardstown host a flat meeting.

Here are Danny Archer's selections...

Just Roll with it at Haydock

6:05: Haydock - Lugano 6/5 NAP.

Sir Mark Prescott's charge returned from a break to win nicely at Wolverhampton last time, keeping on strongly in the closing stages to land the spoils. He looks a typical Prescott handicap improver and with a handy 5lb claimer on board, the son of Galileo can defy his new mark.

7:40: Haydock - Roller 11/4.

Michael Easterby's four-year-old gelding was an excellent head second at Ripon last time and a reproduction of that run should be good enough to see him land the spoils.

8:10: Haydock - Caponova 4/1.

Has a record of four wins from five starts at this track and whilst he was disappointing at Chester last time, that was more down to the fact that he completely missed the break on that occasion, ruining any potential chance he had.

8:40: Haydock - Melodine 11/1 Each Way.

This three-year-old filly ran with credit in maidens without ever troubling the judge. An opening mark of 65 is arguably too high but she could make rapid progression now entering handicap company, particularly now stepped up in trip to an extended 10 furlongs.

Funk to give punters Psychedelic feel at Leopardstown

7:20: Leopardstown - Psychedelic Funk 4/1.

Ger Lyons' charge finally showed a return to form when second to the top-class Caravaggio in a Group Three event at Naas last time. That should see him go close in this event.

7:50: Leopardstown - Archer's Up 9/1 Each Way.

Richard Brabazon's gelding won at Dundalk in November at a huge price, but he looks open to further improvement.

Brimham to Rock Newbury

2:00: Newbury - Mutakatif 8/11. Charlie Hills' charge was a good second at Haydock last time when he was well-backed. He can go one better here by putting his experience to good use.

3:05: Newbury - Talaayeb 8/15.

Very tough to look past Owen Burrows' filly who was fourth in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket last time and will relish the step up in trip. The daughter of Dansili is regally bred and could prove to be very smart. She remains slightly inexperienced having had just two runs but she would have learnt a lot in the 1000 Guineas last time and she looks tough to beat.

4:50: Newbury - Brimham Rocks 11/8.

Tough to look past Ralph Beckett's charge who can defy a 6lb rise in the weights for winning at Haydock last time.

Titus to be Gladiatorial at Nottingham

1:40: Nottingham - Flavius Titus 3/1.

Heard very good things about this son of Lethal Force who should know his job first time out. Vibes have been strong from the stable that he is one of their better two-year-olds and whilst he does take on more experienced rivals today, he still looks an interesting proposition.

3:20: Nottingham - Syrian Pearl 6/1 Each Way.

Chris Wall's horses are starting to hit form and this six-year-old mare bagged a big-field handicap here in September. She should strip fitter for her reappearance and she looks capable of making her presence felt off her current mark.

3:55: Nottingham - Arctic Angel 11/8.

Narrowly beaten at Kempton last time and whilst this is his first run on turf, he should handle conditions and looks tough to beat.

4:30: Nottingham - Ocean Drive 6/4.

On the face of things, it was disappointing that William Haggas' filly couldn't get the job done at Lingfield last time but the horse who beat her that should have won a valuable handicap on Derby day at Epsom and looks quite smart. Therefore, it's good that the form has been franked since and this daughter of Sea The Stars should get her head in front in her second run in handicaps.

Skelton's to show Midas touch with Wynford

8:00: Uttoxeter - Wynford 11/4.

Has his first run for the Skelton's today with the addition of a tongue-tie. He will have to step up markedly on what he has achieved so far but he is of interest in this event.

Win Treble

2:00: Newbury - Mutakatif 8/11

3:05: Newbury - Talaayeb 8/15

3:55: Nottingham - Arctic Angel 11/8
