This is shaping to be an amazing event.

The octagon returns for a second consecutive night of action from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with two title belts on the line with Amanda Nunes looking to retain her bantamweight gold against Valentina Shevchenko, whilst Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero go to war for the interim middleweight championship.

The card also features the conclusion of a heavyweight trilogy of bouts between Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum as well as former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis taking on legend, Jim Miller.

With the action due to get underway on UFC Fight Pass from 23:30, before switching to BT Sport at 01:00, it's due to be a long and hopefully entertaining night of action from Las Vegas.

Our man Darren Russell (@DRussellMMA) looks at the bets to make to bolster that bank balance.

Amanda Nunes vs. Valentina Shevchenko

Amanda Nunes to win by KO/TKO/DQ - 5/2 at BetVictor

Amanda Nunes has the opportunity to cement her position as the best women's bantamweight in the history of the UFC. With victories over both Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate she has deposited the historical figures of the division and now faces a rematch with an opponent she edged out last March at UFC 196.

Shevchenko is a dangerous, witty counter striker who has well rounded grappling and jiu-jitsu as demonstrated with her submission victory over Julianna Peña and her defeat of Holly Holm.

Both fighters have drastically improved since their first battle but could cardio prove to be decisive? Nunes looked exhausted in the third round of their first meeting and with this scheduled to last for five, five-minute rounds, will Nunes be wary of exerting her energy early on?

I think not. Nunes' relentless pressure has got her to this point in her career and with the 'Lioness' finishing four of her last five fights in the first round, I think she has to trust in her ability to strike with precision and power. A couple of inches reach advantage should help her in that department, but also she must be wary of the range of strikes that Shevchenko throws.

Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker

Yoel Romero to win by decision - 5/1 at Paddy Power

A silver medallist from the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, freestyle wrestler Yoel Romero looks to secure a shot at Michael Bisping at the tender age of forty. I don't know any forty-year old that looks half as good as Romero.

Robert Whittaker is a dangerous opponent, with possibly one of the best striking outputs in the division. His stoppage of Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza showcased that in the most devastating fashion. He also demonstrated his ability to stop Jacare taking him down, who is probably the best wrestler in the UFC.

It's such a tough fight to call, it could literally end in any way (which is the pure attraction of the sport) but I think Romero will try to outlast Whittaker's early barrage and grind out a decision victory. In his stoppage over Weidman, he was happy to cruise towards the judge's scorecards before landing a devastating knee. It will be interesting to see both fighter's cardio levels.

Anthony Pettis vs. Jim Miller

Anthony Pettis to win by decision - 6/4 at BetVictor

When Anthony Pettis won the lightweight title against Benson Henderson at UFC 164, he was expected to become a long serving 155lbs legend. He then lost to a 5/1 underdog in Rafael dos Anjos and went on to lose three of his next four fights.

To be fair to Pettis, his opponents in that time have been tough; Eddie Alvarez, Max Holloway and Edson Barboza are no easy match ups but after a brief flirting at featherweight, he returns to his natural weight class with the hope of climbing back to the top of the division.

Jim Miller is a lightweight legend and when he's around, you're guaranteed a fun fight. You don't compete twenty-six times in the octagon dating back almost nine years. Miller will be looking to return to the winning column after his points defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 208 in February.

I think Pettis will be slightly cautious and with Miller collecting three fight of the night awards in his last six, it has the potential to steal the limelight. I can't see how either fighter would be able to finish the other with it being such a close match up. Pettis will need to be wary of Miller shooting for the takedown and if he can time it right, he may catch him at the right time.
