Luke Littler makes pledge to 21-year-old girlfriend Eloise Milburn during live TV interview

Luke Littler makes pledge to 21-year-old girlfriend Eloise Milburn during live TV interview

Littler appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier on Thursday.

Luke Littler made a promise to girlfriend Eloise Milburn during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

The 16-year-old darts sensation was beaten 7-4 by world number one Luke Humphries in the PDC World Darts Championship final on Wednesday evening.

Littler was 4-2 up at one point in the game and had an opportunity to go 5-2 up before Humphries completed a sensational comeback.

Despite failing to win the competition, Littler has pocketed £200,000 in addition to acheiving nationwide fame.

He joined Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on ITV's flagship breakfast programme 'Good Morning Britain' to discuss his incredible tournament.

Littler managed to topple five-time world champion Raymond Van Barneveld and dominate 2018 winner Rob Cross, looking mature beyond his years.

It's seen the general public take an interest in his private life. He went public with 21-year-old Milburn after the couple embraced inside Ally Pally.

They've been together for six weeks and her mother, Amanda, recently hit back at nasty taunts about their relationship.

She said: "We are a darts family, we love playing this sport and are all very dedicated to it.

"It's quite ironic that I met my husband through darts and Eloise might have met hers in the same way. It's the still early days for them and she'll kill me if I bring up talk of marriage."

Littler discussed her love of darts, admitting his next goal is to get Milburn up to his level so they can challenge for the biggest prizes in the game together.

He explained: "Yeah, obviously I’ve just played in that one, so hopefully I can practise with Eloise and try and get her to where I am."

Milburn represents the Surrey Women's Darts side at the Walton Working Men's Club.

Next on the agenda for Littler is an appearance in the 2024 Premier League of Darts.

He'll join Humphries, Cross, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Nathan Aspinall and Michael van Gerwen when the action gets underway on February 1.

He starred in the announcement video and ended with the line: "This time, I don't have school in the morning."
