Conor McGregor has key detail changed by CGI in Road House trailer as fans spot difference

Fans spotted the change to McGregor.

Conor McGregor has wowed his supporters after appearing in the first trailer for the remake of Road House.

The upcoming film, which will be released on Amazon Prime, is a remake of the 1989 classic starring Patrick Swayze.

McGregor will make his film debut in the reboot alongside Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The first trailer for the movie was released on Thursday and is already sweeping the internet. Check it out below.

Former UFC two-weight champion McGregor will play the role of Knox, the nemesis of Gyllenhaal's character Dalton in the movie.

Upon the release of the trailer, McGregor took to X to write: "Fighting, acting, there's nothing this Mac can't do!

"Here's the trailer featuring my brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, and me going toe-to-toe in the wildest action movie ever – Road House! My acting debut is gonna leave a mark! Long live Knox!"

McGregor claims to have broken a world record while filming the movie.

In a previous post on X, he wrote: "I'm the highest-paid first-time actor of all time. Add that to the rest of my accolades."

It has now emerged that the filmmakers made a crucial detail to the appearance of McGregor for the movie, which eagle-eyed fans spotted following the release of the trailer.

McGregor is known for his wide range of tattoos, including having his surname inked across his stomach.

Fans spotted that the tattoo had been altered by CGI to instead read ‘Knox Knox Knox’ – the name of his character in the movie.

In the film, Gyllenhaal plays a retired UFC fighter who later becomes a bouncer at an unruly bar in Florida.

The Hollywood A-lister made a surprise appearance at UFC 285, filming scenes inside the octagon between actual fights on the Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane undercard.

Road House is expected to be released on Prime Video on March 21.
