Borussia Dortmund fans and the board can breathe a sigh of relief following one of their most sought after talents ruling out a move to Bayern Munich.

Over the years, Borussia Dortmund have succumbed to the financial muscle of their Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich by selling some of their key players.

From Mats Hummels and Mario Gotze to Robert Lewandowski. But Christian Pulisic has no desire of making the switch to the German champions.

The 18-year-old midfielder is subject to plenty of interest from around Europe. Liverpool and Spurs, to name but a few, have expressed an interest in the budding American.

Pulisic is tied to the club till 2020, and when asked about a potential switch to Bayern, Pulisic gave a resounding response.

"No, that I could not do," Pulisic said via ESPN. While adding, "I can't say that, but nah."

He reaffirmed that he's happy in Dortmund, who's previously said that he loves living in the city, while mentioning the Premier League.

"Nah, I mean when I was little I wanted to play in the Premier League but now that I'm in the Bundesliga I'm not planning on a move because that's what I want to do. I'm really happy there and I'm just kind of going with the flow and I'm happy with it."

While Pulisic remains coy on his future, the Pennsylvania footballer has also gone on record saying that he'd love to play back home in the Major League Soccer.

"Yeah, it's actually something I've thought about. Of course it was always my dream to play soccer in Europe and that's what I've been doing but one day I'd love to come back to the U.S."

The fledgling league continues to attract some of the biggest names in Europe with ex-Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic mulling over a move to LA Galaxy.

"I'm hoping that the sport continues to grow. I guess I would love to be home and play soccer. It'd be amazing," Pulisic added.
