Nuri Sahin gave a hugely emotional interview about the attack on Borussia Dortmund's team bus last night.

The Turkish midfielder was on the bus when it was hit by bomb before the team's Champions League clash with Monaco.

Marc Bartra was injured in the attack, which forced UEFA to reschedule the game from last night to 5.45pm today.

And police have since detained a suspect with 'Islamist links' as they investigate what exactly happened and who was behind the three explosive attack.

Dortmund have been critical of UEFA in the aftermath of this evening's game, with manager Thomas Tuchel saying his players were left feeling "helpless" by the decision to reschedule to less than a day after the attacks.

But Sahin gave the most moving post-match interview when he shared his story about being involved in the attacks and the impact it's had on him:

It's clear Dortmund would rather have played the game at another time - and that's backed up by the emotional interview from Sahin about it.

Fortunately, Barta only suffered an injury to his hand and arm, meaning the attack could have had more serious consequences.

The replayed game between Dortmund and Monaco finished 3-2 to the visitors tonight, with Kylian Mbappe inspiring them to victory with two goals.
