Chelsea, Manchester City and Leeds United are among the teams who have players included in the Guardian's 60 best young talents born in 2000 list.
Every year the British newspaper publishes a list of the 60 best players who have either turned or are turning 17.
At that age, you'd expect them to be on the periphery of their club's first team or pulling up trees in their youth academy ahead of their inevitable top call-up.

So it's an interesting list for fans keen to see if their top young talent measures up to what the rest of the world has on offer.
Chelsea and City won't be surprised to see some of their players included, with Callum Hudson-Odoi in for the former before Benjamín Garre is listed for the latter.
One team we didn't expect to see represented was Leeds, but they've got youngster Kun Temenuzhkov included after they signed him from Barcelona in the summer.

England is the only British country to have teams with players on the list - a sad reflection of how talent in the other leagues are written off. So is there anyone else that should be included on the list?

One stand out name who features on this list is Vinicius Junior.
Back in May, Real Madrid announced they were successful in signing the teenage forward from Flamengo for a record fee for someone born this millennium.
Junior was born 12 July 2000, making him just a month older than Manchester United's latest headline maker Angelo Gomes, and has just signed for Real for an incredible £39 million.
That makes him the most expensive ever 16 year old, beating Theo Walcott's former record by a long way. The Arsenal forward moved from Southampton for £12.5 million in 2006.

On top of that Junior has also become the most expensive player born in this century. Junior can't move to the Bernabeu till he turns 18 in July 2018 so will stay in Brazil for now.
