Ter Stegen produced an incredible save to deny Mario Hermoso in the 20th minute. He somehow kept out his header from point blank range.
He then made another incredible save to stop Alvaro Morata from opening the scoring in the 40th minute. The 27-year-old keeper stuck out a big right hand to save the Spaniard's bullet header.
Needless to say, Ter Stegen's heroics between the sticks sent social media into overdrive.
Barcelona's No.1 is widely considered the best goalkeeper in world football and his performance on Sunday would suggest that sentiment is correct.
