The former agent of Mauro Icardi believes that the Inter Milan striker's life has "changed so much" after his agent and wife, Wanda Nara, walked into his life.

The 26-year-old Argentina international was stripped of the club captaincy earlier this month, as well as contract negotiations with I Nerazzurri hitting a stumbling block.

Now, Abián Morano has spoken out about Icardi's future at the club and the impact that Wanda has had on him.

"Icardi has changed so much since Wanda came into his life," he told Sport (via Football Italia).

"Before he was humble, concentrated and so eager to grow and improve. The way he views life has changed in a way that I personally consider to be wrong.

"In all honesty, I am not surprised by what is happening. In the little time I had to work with his wife, I immediately noticed a different attitude. He was isolated. This change in his life can put his sporting future in danger.

"He will certainly leave Inter. I believe, with the right service, Icardi is one of the best number 9s out there and can even compete for the Golden Shoe."

SPORTbible reported last week that the former Inter Milan captain had a confrontation with teammate Ivan Perišić, following on from comments that Nara had made about him.

Icardi has a contract with the Italian club that runs until 2021, though it does include a €110m release clause that will become active from 1st July to 15th July.

Wanda has expressed her disappointment on the club's decision to strip the captaincy from Icardi, saying that taking away the armband was like "taking away a leg more than an arm."

"He wears that jersey with such pride and if there were decisions to be made in the past about money or love of the shirt, he always chooses the shirt," she explained on Mediaset's Tiki Taka (via Football Italia).

"I had no warning at all. I am always in contact with Inter, I have them on speed dial, but I only found out about the decision to revoke his captaincy on Twitter.

"I had a three-hour meeting with people very high up in the club and they never told me anything about it.

"Mauro scored 120 goals with this jersey and when nobody believed, he was the first to pick up the ball and call everyone forward, because he believes in this team. We are a family of Interisti, whether he is on the field or not.

"Inter are my family, so when the incident happened with the rock, the first people I called were Inter.

"Mauro was asleep, as he had training in the afternoon, so I didn't know who else to call. We are here in Milan because of Inter."

Will Icardi leave Inter Milan at the end of the season?
