The ex-Liverpool man couldn't hide his emotions as he broke down in tears on the bench.
He's now a potential doubt for their next La Liga game on Sunday against cross-town rivals Real Madrid.

Naturally, the 34-year-old's emotional reaction got fans talking online.

Without Suarez, Atleti pulled through as they beat Porto 3-1 to secure their spot in the last-16.
