The disrespect.

Eden Hazard limped out of Belgium's friendly with Costa Rica on Monday night as the World Cup looms, but an incident involving teammate Yannick Carrasco was perhaps the biggest talking point on social media.

In the 60th minute, with Roberto Martinez's side 3-1 up, both Hazard and Carrasco ran for the ball on the far side of the pitch, but the Chelsea winger was determined to retain possession.

He proceeded to shove his teammate in the chest, before passing to another Belgium player in the final third. No f*cks given.

You certainly don't see this happen very often. The commentator described Hazard like 'the king of the school playground' as he turned round and gave a gesture to the 24-year-old, who plays in the Chinese Super League for Dalian Yifang.

It is a captain's duty to take control, but surely this is a step too far from the Chelsea player?

What is clear is that Hazard and Carrasco are good pals off the pitch. Earlier this week, he defended the player's decision to move to the Chinese Super League.

"I'm not inside Yannick's head, but I know that he wanted to leave Atletico Madrid," Hazard said in an interview with La Derniere Heure.

"Perhaps China was the only option to leave. By staying at Atletico until the end of the season, perhaps he wouldn't have played at all.

In China, it's certain he'll play a lot. Frankly, it's better to have playing time in China than be on the bench in La Liga.

"It seems a bizarre choice but he has his reasons, I'm sure of that. I don't have any problem with those [Red] Devils who go to China."

In other news, Roberto Martinez played down the Chelsea winger's injury as a dead leg.

It sounds like Hazard will be fit for Belgium's opening World Cup game against Panama, but can Belgium go far in the tournament?
