Eden Hazard's national teammates have trolled the star after he appeared to steal the ball off Yannick Carrasco.

Belgium faced Costa Rica in a warm-up game ahead of the World Cup. The Europeans beat them a comfortable 4-1 on Monday.

During the game, Chelsea attacker looked to have nicked the ball off Carrasco by shoving him away.

The incident was quickly picked up by social media users.

And now Hazard's own teammates have taken to social media to take jibes at the 27-year-old for his petty antics.

First off, Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet mercilessly shamed the player. He said in a tweet: "When your girl wants to watch Netflix when the World Cup is on #ATouchofEden."

Next Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke stuck his boot in. He said "When your friend comes over to your house and claims controller 1 #ATouchOfEden @hazardeden10."

Yeah, that's kind of the same the as Mignolet's tweet, Christian, but still a good effort.

Axel Witsel waded in with: "When there's only one slice of pizza left #ATouchOfEden @hazardeden10."

The Belgium national squad are certainly all aboard the banter train already, but let's hope that Hazard doesn't take it all heart.

Belgium have Panama, Tunisia and England in their group. Given the depth of quality in their squad, they'd be expected to sail through to the knockout stages of the tournament.

But whether they'll finish top or Gareth Southgate's men will, remains to be seen.
