Jadon Sancho says he’s got ‘personal goals’ he doesn’t want to reveal in post-match interview

Jadon Sancho says he’s got ‘personal goals’ he doesn’t want to reveal in post-match interview

Manchester United fans think they know Jadon Sancho's 'personal goals' following his appearance for Borussia Dortmund.

Jadon Sancho says he has 'personal goals' that he doesn't want to reveal following his second Borussia Dortmund debut and Manchester United fans think they have worked them out.

Sancho returned to action on Saturday as Dortmund beat Darmstadt 3-0, with the Man United loanee recording an assist.

He entered the fray in the second-half and set up Marco Reus for his side's second goal.

Even though he hasn't played football since August following his dispute with Erik ten Hag, the 23-year-old looked sharp and right at home but got trolled by a fan who made a brutal taunt.

Sancho spoke to Bundesliga TV after his cameo appearance and revealed his goals for Dortmund as well as his 'personal goals'.

He said: "[My goal is] to be happy again, to be back on the pitch and to help the team, get them back in the top three and qualify for the Champions League.

"I've got personal goals which I'm not going to say for now. I just want to help the team and I'm very positive about the second half of the season.

"We kept a clean sheet which was really important and we just take it game by game. The team have objectives and I'm sure we'll do well if we fight every game."

It didn't take long for Man United fans on social media to try and figure out Sancho's cryptic response as they believe he's out to prove Ten Hag wrong.

One X user wrote: "Man said it’s revenge season without saying it."

A second tweeted: "You just know he's gonna have the biggest smile on his face if Ten Hag gets sacked."

A third fumed: "Genuinely so disrespectful, never better touch a united kit again."

A fourth claimed: "His personal goal is defo getting more g/a than all of United’s attackers."

Another said: "Personal goals? Yh he’s cooking this szn."

Sancho will look to continue to prove Ten Hag and some Man United fans wrong when Dortmund resume their league campaign next Saturday against Koln.
