Harry Kane's three children rushed to hospital after 'horror car crash' in Germany

Harry Kane's children were involved in a car accident on the day he flew back to England.

Harry Kane's three children were injured in a serious car accident in Germany, according to a report.

The shocking incident is understood to have taken place in Bavaria on Monday as Kane travelled to London for Bayern Munich's Champions League tie against Arsenal.

According to German outlet Bild, a Renault driver smashed into a Mercedes van while trying to turn onto a motorway slip road.

The Mercedes was carrying Kane's three children; Louis, Vivienne and Ivy.

His children - aged three, five and seven - were rushed to hospital, per the report.

The children were transported by ambulance and sustained superficial injuries but did not suffer any serious injuries.

It's claimed that Kane's wife Katie and their youngest child Henry, who's seven months old, were not in the car.

A 24-year-old woman from the district drove the Mercedes and there were three passengers in the Renault, aged three, 43 and 48.

A Land Rover, which was driven by a 62-year-old woman, was also involved in the crash.

Fortunately, all eight people in the multi-car accident escaped any serious injuries, suffering minor injuries.

By the time the accident unfolded, the England captain had just landed in London ahead of his side's quarter-final first-leg clash against Arsenal.

He scored a penalty in Bayern's 2-2 draw at the Emirates on Tuesday.

After the match, the 30-year-old said: "'Having no fans here tonight was tough. Having a full stadium [next week] will push us on.

"We had a big chance to go 3-1 up but Leroy didn’t put it away unfortunately.

"It’s been an amazing experience in Germany personally. To see a different culture and a different league.

"The league is gone this season but I am there for a long time."

Bayern resume their Bundesliga campaign on Saturday against Koln before hosting Arsenal in the second-leg next Wednesday.
