David Beckham hilariously rips apart Victoria's claim that she grew up working class

David Beckham’s new Netflix documentary series ‘BECKHAM’ released on Wednesday

David Beckham hilariously ripped apart Victoria’s claim that she grew up in a working class family.

This week, Beckham’s new Netflix documentary series ‘BECKHAM’ gave fans an insight into his life on and off the pitch.

The series focused on Beckham’s illustrious career which spanned more than 20 years, whilst also touching on family subjects such as his marriage with Victoria and the alleged affair with Rebecca Loos.

During the show, there was a hilarious moment between Beckham and Victoria after the former Spice Girls singer claimed she grew up working class. You can watch the footage below.

Victoria said: “We were very working class…”

Peaking his head through the door, Beckham said: “Be honest…”

Beckham continued to push Victoria whilst she tried to justify her case.

The former Manchester United and England midfielder then said: “What car did your dad drive you to school in?”

As Victoria tried to dodge the question, Beckham added: “No, one answer.”

Victoria then said: “It’s not a simple answer.”

“What car did you get your dad to drive you to school in?” Beckham insisted.

Eventually, Victoria said: “OK, in the 80s my dad had a Rolls-Royce.”

Beckham simply said: “Thank you,” before leaving the room and shutting the door.

Victoria was born in 1974 in Harlow, her mother was working as an insurance clerk before moving on to hairdressing.

Her father was an electronics engineer and ended up doing well after setting up a wholesale business.

During the documentary series, Victoria admitted that she ‘resented’ Beckham after opening up on rumours of his affair.

She said: “Did I resent David? If I'm being totally honest, yes I did. If I'm being honest it's probably the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life.

“It wasn't that I was being unheard, I chose to internalise a lot of it because I was always mindful of the focus that he needed.”
