An Arsenal fan has tweeted about the lack of respect some Arsenal fans have shown players in the wake of the Granit Xhaka incident and it has gone viral.
Arsenal captain Xhaka was substituted to loud cheers in yesterday's 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.
The Swiss international reacted by telling Gunners fans to 'f**k off' while cupping his hand to his ear.

And now an Arsenal fan's reaction to the outburst on Twitter has got many talking.
It reads,
"Eboue was booed, Ramsey and his family were abused, Wenger was abused, Mustafi and Xhaka booed and abused on social media. Unai the latest target.
"This is coming from the same fanbase who talk about our class, tradition & history with pride.
What a toxic fanbase we've become."

The tweet lists a variety of times that Arsenal fans have conducted themselves poorly in relation to their players and managers.
One of the more notable occasions involves Arsenal cult hero Emmanuel Eboue being driven to tears.
Eboue had endured a torrid time after coming on as a substitute against Wigan Athletic in 2008.
He found himself being substituted not long after coming on and the Arsenal fans cheered in delight.
The defender was visibly distraught as he left the pitch with former striker Emmanuel Adebayor consoling him.

The Ivorian ripped off his gloves and looked crestfallen.
Current Arsenal centre back Shkodran Mustafi is a maligned figure among Arsenal supporters.
Former boss Arsene Wenger also endured torrid abuse during his final few years at the helm.
