IBF and WBA world champion Anthony Joshua is not a man to be messed with, but one fan wasn't afraid to call out the British heavyweight on Twitter this week.

I mean, he might have won all 20 of his professional fights to date, but Ben from Washington is a brave lad who clearly thinks he can last a few rounds with Joshua.

In fact, scrap the few rounds comment because Ben thinks he can last 'at least' 9 rounds with the 28-year-old, who has previous beaten the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Éric Molina, Carlos Takam and Dominic Breazeale.

So here's how the Twitter conversation went down. Anthony posted a classic selfie of himself chilling in Dubai.

It racked up an impressive 50k likes and the ladies went mad for it.

24 hours later, Ben Hope from Washington was scrolling down his Twitter feed when he thought it was a good idea to call out the 28-year-old, saying: "I'd take you at least 9 rounds in the ring lad"

For the most part, celebrities tend to ignore comments like the above but Anthony Joshua produced a quality reply to the brave lad.

Take a bow, Anthony Joshua.

This isn't the first time he's racked up plenty of retweets in recent days, A tweet was sent from Joshua's Twitter account to Tyson Fury telling him 'get fit you fat fuck'.

A message was also tweeted to another heavyweight champion rival, Deontay Wilder, to say Joshua is 'ready and waiting' for the offer of a fight.

The tweets came just hours after Joshua insisted he wasn't 'ducking' any fight, adding that his would-be opponents had just been 'making noise' on social media.

The tweets also implied Joshua, who is known as a 'nice guy' of boxing, was taking offence after he was seemingly accused of showing the 'real Anthony Joshua'
