Ric Flair made a surprise return to WWE last night, sharing an emotional moment with daughter Charlotte after her title win on Smackdown.
Charlotte, real name Ashley Fliehr, claimed a fifth women's championship win when she made long-time rival Natalya, niece of the great Bret Hart, tap out to her Figure Eight submission - with the victory meaning she will take on Raw's Alexa Bliss in a battle of the champions at Survivor Series.

And given her father's recent health scare, it was a particularly emotional affair for Charlotte, who addressed her 16-time champion Dad in a post-match promo following her hometown title win.
But much to the surprise of the 31-year old, and the fans in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Nature Boy's music hit as she headed up the ramp, and the two embraced.
The two-time WWE Hall of Famer was on the brink of death not too long ago but has made a remarkable recovery. And he was never going to miss yet another big moment in his daughter's glittering career, as per the man himself.
