Two former UFC champions met in a WWE ring for the first time as Cain Velasquez made his surprise debut at Smackdown on Friday night, attacking new champion Brock Lesnar.
Velasquez, who has previously made his professional wrestling debut with Mexican promotion AAA, made his shock entrance at the end of Smackdown's FOX debut.
Lesnar had just beaten Kofi Kingston in a matter of seconds to win the WWE World Championship when his old UFC foe made his entrance and attacked him in the ring.

The 37-year-old Californian came to the ring alongside Rey Mysterio after the 'Master of the 619's' music hit. On Monday night Raw Lesnar had attacked Mysterio, who was in a sling on Friday, and his son Dominick.
Despite just winning the title there's very good reason why Lesnar looked like he'd just seen a ghost, in October 2010 he lost the UFC title to Velasquez, losing by a first round stoppage.
The former two time UFC heavyweight champion last fought for the MMA promotion earlier this year in a loss to Francis Ngannou in February.
He is still contracted to the company but according to Dave Meltzer, writing for MMA Fighting, he came to an agreement earlier this week to fight Lesnar.
It's not known when yet but Meltzer speculated that it's likely to happen at either the company's October 31st show in Saudi Arabia, with the country spending a lot of money to bring shows there and always bringing the biggest names, or at Wrestlemania next year.

It was a huge night for WWE with the Rock returning to the show he helped create, starring alongside Becky Lynch and Tyson Fury also making a debut.
By far the biggest headlines of the night though were Lesnar recapturing the heavyweight title and then seeing his past become his future.
Will Velasquez take a heavyweight title from Lesnar again?
