Zlatan Ibrahimovic To Appear At Wrestlemania?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic To Appear At Wrestlemania?

Surely not?!

Here's an article I did not think I would be writing! There's rumours that Zlatan Ibrahimovic may make an appearance at Wrestlemania 34.

The Swede has just made the move to the United States, making his mark by scoring a debut brace in the first ever derby between LA Galaxy and Los Angeles FC, the hosts coming from 3-0 down to win in stunning fashion thanks to their new talisman.

Already a global sensation, Zlatan catapulted the MLS into new heights with his heroics last week.

Out of nowhere (much like a Randy Orton RKO), odds have been slashed on the 36-year old superstar turning up on the grandest stage of them all in New Orleans on Sunday.

Incredibly, odds have gone from 50/1 to 16/1 with some bookmakers.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek had the following to say about it all:

"One of the more obscure rumours bookmakers have reacted to is Swedish sensation Zlatan Ibrahimovic rocking up at Wrestlemania 34.

"With the striker making a recent move across the pond and his flair for the dramatic - it's easy to see why this story is gathering pace."

No matter what capacity, a Zlatan cameo, although still unlikely by my book, would send everyone into a frenzy.

If you hark back to two years ago, when WWE held Monday Night Raw in Manchester, Zlatan's former Manchester United colleague Wayne Rooney got physical with four-time Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett.

After being goaded by the Preston North End-supporting grappler, Rooney slapped the 37-year old and ended up costing Sheamus his match with Cesaro.

The whole thing stemmed from when Rooney dived for a penalty against PNE in the FA Cup, which prompted Barrett to go after England's record goalscorer.

The King of Bad News fancied "tearing a strip out" Rooney on the mic when he turned up at a show but got his comeuppance big-time.

What do you reckon in regards to Zlatan showing up?

Sound off in the comments.
