WWE superstar Roman Reigns has reportedly pulled out of WrestleMania.

Reigns - real name Joe Anoa'i - will not perform at WWE's big annual card according to widespread reports.

The 34-year-old, who has battled leukemia, did not feel comfortable competing at the WWE Performance Center amid the coronavirus outbreak.

As a leukemia survivor and being immunocompromised, he didn't want to risk his health.

Reigns was scheduled to face Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship title. The promotion are now seeking a replacement though it's unclear who'll fill his void.

Speaking about the global pandemic, WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon explained: "We're taking every precaution we can.

"It's also why you don't see talent or anyone else in the audience. We really are adhering to all the guidelines that we can to maintain the health and safety of our crew and our performers."

WrestleMania has been taping matches for the event this week at their Performance Center to air over two nights on April 4 and 5.
