Brock Lesnar's opponent for next year's WrestleMania 35 has reportedly been leaked.

Earlier this year, the 41-year-old WWE superstar and UFC fighter defended his WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

With the former Shield member out of the picture due to his ongoing battle with leukaemia, it looks like a 'Mania rematch is well and truly off the cards.

WWE CEO Vince McMahon is apparently in a "shaking up plans mood," with him already lining up the Universal Champion's next opponent.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via the Sun), Lesnar will take on the current Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins.

It is also suggested that it could be a champion vs champion match, but it remains to be seen if Rollins keeps hold of his title ahead of a defence against Dean Ambrose at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs next month.

Meltzer also believes that Reigns' battle with leukaemia could be used in the storyline. Of course, it is not hard to believe that the WWE could integrate it into a storyline, mainly for how it has already been used by Ambrose in his current feud with Rollins.

Meanwhile, it has been rumoured that Lesnar is expected to make his return to the UFC in 2019 at some point, with him reigniting his rivalry with either Daniel Cormier or Jon Jones.

In other news, Lesnar recently fought against WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at Survivor Series. During the pay-per-view, he was caught swearing at a wrestling fan who turned out to be former IGN host and YouTuber Greg Miller.

WrestleMania 35 will be held at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 7th April 2019.
