​WWE Officially Ranks The 10 Best Factions Of All Time, Sparks Controversy With Fans Over Top Pick

WWE has named The Shield as the best faction in wrestling history ahead of legendary stables like The Four Horsemen and D-Generation X.

The Shield, which was comprised of Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, became a dominating faction in the company in the previous decade.

However, the decision to place The Shield ahead of other icon factions was met with backlash from fans on social media.

"I like The Shield but come on now. Greatest faction of all time? Leave it out," one fan posted on Twitter.

While another argued: "My opinion, I've got to go with the old school that is the #4Horsemen. Because they practically wrote the book on faction warfare."

A third fan tweeted: "Not tough at all, The Four Horseman are the best Faction [sic] by a mile!"

And a fourth fan added: "This is the most disrespectful list I've ever seen. How in the hell is the shield [sic] ranked #1 over The Four Horsemen?"

Fans also expressed their disappointment at not seeing factions like the Nation of Domination, The Corporation and Ministry of Darkness make the top 10.
