Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Brought Stunt Double To Tears With Incredible Gift

The Rock just seems like a genuinely lovely bloke, to be honest.

We all love Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, right? The guy has gone from being 'The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment' to the world's highest paid actor, and he seems like he's just a genuinely nice guy.

See for yourself...

Yes, he's set about proving his nice guy status once again, by gifting a truck to his stunt double to reward him for 17 years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears.

We'll hear more about the tears later.

His double, Tanoai Reed - who is also his cousin, as it happens - received a custom pick-up by way of a big thank you from his boss/cuz/friend.

Johnson told him that he was going to do a behind the scenes interview with him, but then sprung the surprise on him and showed him the truck that was now his.

He then posted the whole thing on Instagram and wrote: "SURPRISE! I love handing over keys. I love you brother and enjoy your new truck!

"Over the course of my career, my stunt double (and cousin) Tanoai Reed has broken multiple bones, severed tendons, torn ligaments & just been an overall dominating bad ass achieving several 'Stuntman of the Year' honors.

"All done with one goal in mind - deliver the best movie possible to the world."

He continued: "I had this custom pickup truck delivered just in time to surprise him (he's still recovering from a stunt injury) while we gave what he thought was going to be an interview about our careers together.

"As you'll see the moment I put my hands on my hips, that's the driver's cue to pull away and reveal the big surprise.

"Not only does Tanoai represent our family and my career with relentless commitment and passion. He also represents an entire Hollywood stunt community that is truly the backbone of our business."

He finished with: "Love you uso [brother] and thank you for the blood, sweat, tears and years. We're just getting started.

"Enjoy your new truck!"

The sweet gesture really came across well in the video, and Tanoai was obviously taken aback by the gesture. He seemed a bit overwhelmed and even shed a few tears - not something you'd expect from someone who is the stunt double for a renowned Hollywood hard man.

Fair play to The Rock - even in his position, he's still looking out for those around him. What a nice guy.
