WWE legend The Undertaker has been called out for one final match by current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

The Undertaker, real name Mark Calaway, hasn't been seen on WWE TV since defeating AJ Styles in the first ever 'Boneyard Match' at WrestleMania 36.

'The Phenom' revealed he is ready to step away from the ring aged 55, but he'll be available "in case of emergency."

McIntyre told BBC that he wants to be the man that gets Undertaker back inside the squared circle.

"That's the one I want before he rides off into the sunset," he begun.

"I want The Undertaker.

"When I first appeared I was so intimidated by him. Everybody would just freak out when they saw him.

"When I was 23 or 24 he was basically put in charge of me as my mentor. I was told to listen to nobody except The Undertaker, so I would harass him all the time for advice.

"Sometimes it sounded like he was talking in riddles because he spoke at such an advanced level. An absolute legend.

"I think he has one more match left in him and it has to be with Drew McIntyre."

The Undertaker is still under contract with WWE after signing a '15-year deal' last year.

McIntyre faced the seven-time world champion in a tag team match at Extreme Rules 2019 but they've never clashed one on one.

The Scotsman has previously stated a WrestleMania match with 'The Deadman' was discussed back in 2010.

However, WWE would opt to go with Shawn Michaels as his opponent.

"The inevitable goal was to have a big match between him and I," he told BT Sport.

"Unfortunately I wasn't ready at the time, things worked out the way they worked out, and I believe it led to, instead of myself and Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Undertaker, the retirement match.

"It was obviously a phenomenal match and I could not have delivered on that level at the time."

McIntyre became WWE Champion back at WrestleMania 36 when he defeated Brock Lesnar in the show's main event.

He is scheduled to defend his title against Randy Orton in a marquee match at SummerSlam this weekend.
