WWE United Kingdom champ Walter has revealed that he would relish the tough competition from WWE superstars Daniel Bryan and Braun Strowman.
SPORTbible caught up with the 32-year-old Austrian star ahead of his epic showdown with Tyler Bate at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff last Saturday.
When we asked Walter if there were any opponents he would love to compete against from Raw or SmackDown, he responded: "Yeah, of course.
"There are a bunch of people I really look up to and I like what they do in the ring. Daniel Bryan is one of them, for sure.
"And then I'm a big fan of The Revival, too. Drew McIntyre is someone I think we could have a good contest."
The 'Ring General' also poked fun at the idea of having a clash with Strowman, saying he would want to do it "personally for my own amusement."
The NXT UK star told SPORTbible in an exclusive interview: "I've always felt the idea of having a contest with Braun Strowman could be very interesting [laughs]."
The UK champ made his WWE debut back at TakeOver: Blackpool in January and has since stormed to the top of the NXT UK brand.
But Walter believes that his success in under a year doesn't make him "feel any different than I feel, like, right now a year ago."
He continued: "Because it didn't matter where I went, I've just stayed true to myself.
"I've always done my thing the way I wanted to do it and the way I wanted to express myself.
"But, like you mentioned, [in] Blackpool there was a very good response to me and I was kind of surprised by it, but also if there would have been no response to that, it wouldn't have mattered for me.
"I would have still done my thing."
Should WWE book Daniel Bryan vs Walter? Or how about Braun Strowman against Walter?
