Impact owners Anthem announced yesterday that the Fight Network has come to the UK and can be viewed on Sky channel 192, as well as on Freesat, channel 161.

The news means that fans of Impact will be able to watch the weekly shows simulcast at the same time as US television at 1 am on Fridays with the repeats being shown during the 9 pm prime time slot later that day.

In a statement announcing the news Peter Einstein, COO of Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp., the parent company of Fight Network, said:

Our diverse programming line-up will showcase premium combat sports content from around the world, while highlighting local stars and events, and we plan to bolster our schedule with more exciting content over the next few months."

Ed Nordholm, president of IMPACT Wrestling added, "Based on popular demand, we are excited to announce that IMPACT Wrestling fans in the UK can now watch our weekly show contemporaneous with its North American broadcast premiere, as well as replays in primetime."

As well as being able to see the likes of Johnny Impact, Pentagon Jr, Fenix, Matt Sydal and Eddie Edwards and Brits Grado and Joe Hendry on a weekly basis for Impact there's also some classic stuff on the channel.

'Wrestling at the Chase,' will feature wrestling from St Louis from the 1950s through to the 1980s featuring the likes of Ric Flair, Harley Race and Lou Thesz.

The channel will also feature MMA from European promotion UCMMA, Jiu-Jitsu from Abu Dhabi and kickboxing from South America in WGP Kickboxing.
